Scalp Micropigmentation can last 3-5 years. With proper care and touch ups it can last a lifetime.
Aftercare is simple. There is no downtime, and your day can resume as normal. For the first 5 days please drink plenty of water and continue taking medications as prescribed. Please refrain from touching the treated area, shaving over treated area, and exposing the treat area to long term sunlight. Keep the treated area dry by avoiding intense workouts and saturating the treated area with water. After 5 days the treated area can now be rinsed lightly with water (without using shampoo), shaved, moisturized with a fragrance-free moisturizer and light perspiration that comes with light exercise. Please refrain from scratching or picking the treated area and the use of self-tanners or anything that will irritate the skin. The treated area will be evaluated during the scheduled follow-up appointment or treatment.
Scalp Micropigmentation has minimal discomfort and there is no need for heavy numbing cream or gel.
No. There is not enough studies to show whether or not this will affect your child. It is suggested that mothers wait at least until 9-12 months after birth, when the child is no longer dependent solely on breastmilk before getting Scalp Micropigmentation.
When done correctly and with proper care and maintenance, Scalp Micropigmentation can be undetectable.
The treated area will not wash off. However, the treated area should remain dry and aftercare instructions followed for optimum results.
